Admissions Code of Conduct

State Technical College of Missouri Admissions and Student Services strive to provide comprehensive and truthful information that allows all parties to make informed decisions. The Admissions office builds trust through maintaining a high standard of confidentiality in relation to student records. The Admissions office’s primary goal is to provide students and families with college admission counseling they can trust, while always advocating for the best interest of the student.

State Technical College of Missouri believes that admission practices should be student-centered and designed to encourage students to apply and enroll when they are ready. To best serve students, the Admissions office strives for a clear, concise application process. The College provides a transparent recruitment schedule for all application priority dates and deadlines, scholarship applications, and financial aid awards. The Admissions office works to provide admissions decisions in a timely manner to help students and families make informed enrollment decisions.

The College maintains and builds wait lists to manage program enrollment capacity. By placing a student on the waitlist, if they are not initially accepted or denied admission, the applicant is extended the opportunity of timely admission should a seat become available.
