Admissions Requirements

Freshman Admission
Freshman applicants include high school seniors, first-time college students, high school graduates with fewer than 24 college credit hours, and dual-enrolled high school students.

To be considered for admission, applicants must:

  • Have a diploma from an accredited high school, or a high school equivalency (HSE) credential
  • Meet minimum scores on college-level placement tests
    • Placement scores must have been earned within the past five years to be considered valid.
  • Submit an application, high school transcript, and test scores

Each program has specific minimum requirements, but meeting them does not guarantee admission. Applicants will be notified of acceptance, denial, or waitlist status.

Transfer Admission
Applicants who have earned college credit after high school are considered transfer students, regardless of the number of credits earned.

To be considered for admission, transfer applicants must:

  • Fewer than 24 credits: Submit college and high school transcripts, as well as test scores or proof of having met the reading, English, and math requirements through prior college coursework. Admission is based on high school records, test scores, and college GPA.
  • 24 or more credits: Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher and submit official transcripts from all colleges attended.

All transfer students will be required to submit both a high school transcript and all college transcripts to qualify for federal financial aid.

Each program has specific minimum requirements, but meeting them does not guarantee admission. Applicants will be notified of acceptance, denial, or waitlist status.
