50th Reunion

The State Tech Alumni Association would like to honor graduates who are celebrating their Golden Anniversary. In 1970 Linn Technical College held its eighth graduation ceremony, which included the eighth graduating class of Electronics, the seventh graduating class of Automotive and Design Drafting and the first graduating class of Machine Tool. We would like to recognize the Class of 1970 and congratulate them on their 50-year milestone.

Why did you choose State Tech and your program? I knew that I needed more than a high school education and not being a big fan of going to school I chose the tech school route over a four year program. I chose the Electronics program because I had an interest in the field.

About Jim: "I have encountered many experiences on my journey through the ages, including but not limited to, a couple of divorces, loss of loved ones, and survival through an economic recession. My marriage to Dorothy, my best-friend, has made this the greatest trip ever. I have always remained true to my old habits of playing guitar, restoring old cars, enjoying sports, and Bar-B Ques."
