At State Tech, we encourage every prospective student to apply—even if you don’t meet the automatic admission requirements below. Every application receives individual consideration.

This program has limited capacity, so applying early gives you the best opportunity for admission.

How Admission Works

State Tech has three admission pathways:

• Automatic Admission – Students meeting the GPA and test score requirements below are automatically admitted.
• Program Review – Applicants who do not meet the automatic admission criteria are reviewed individually to determine their potential for success.
• Deferred Decision – If additional preparation is recommended, our Admissions team will work with you to identify the best pathway.

Automatic Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET) GPA: 3.0 If a prospective student holds an international high school diploma, they must provide an approved Foreign Evaluation Services report confirming U.S. high school equivalency.
Test Scores
Applicants can meet testing requirements with ACT, Accuplacer Next Gen, or a combination of their best scores.
