How do I know if classes are cancelled due to the weather?

On those occasions when it is necessary to alter State Tech’s schedule because of weather conditions, State Tech administrators will communicate closings, cancellations and delays through State Tech Alert, as well as public notification through local media resources (television, radio, and social media). Every effort will be made to notify all those affected as quickly and comprehensively as possible. All State Tech community members should remember that in all situations you should never put yourself in harm’s way by driving or going out into the weather if you believe the risks are too high!
