No Trespass Policy

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly campus environment by establishing clear expectations regarding unauthorized presence on college property. This policy outlines when an individual may be restricted from campus and the procedures for issuing, enforcing, and appealing to a No Trespass Notice.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all students, employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the general public on any property owned, leased, or controlled by the College, including buildings, parking lots, outdoor spaces, instructional sites, and affiliated facilities.

3. Definitions

• No Trespass Notice – A written directive prohibiting an individual from entering some or all campus properties for a specified period.
• Campus Property – Any land, building, facility, or space owned, leased, operated, or controlled by the College.
• Authorized Personnel – Administrators with the authority to issue or enforce a No Trespass Notice.

4. Grounds for Issuing a No Trespass Notice

A No Trespass Notice may be issued when an individual:

• Engages in behavior that threatens the safety, security, or operations of the College.
• Refuses to comply with College policies, directives, or lawful instructions.
• Causes significant disruption to campus activities or classes.
• Engages in harassment, intimidation, or misconduct toward students, employees, or visitors.
• Is found on campus property after being banned, suspended, dismissed, or otherwise restricted.
• Is not conducting legitimate College business and refuses to leave when asked.

5. Authority to Issue Notices

A No Trespass Notice may be issued by:

• The President of the college

• Vice Presidents

• Other personnel designated by the President or Vice Presidents
