Upon any consideration of withdrawal, students should speak with their advisor and consult Financial Aid staff. Failure to complete a Withdrawal Form and officially withdraw may result in the student receiving an “F” grade for each course in which he/she is enrolled. The student will be held responsible for the full cost of each course in which he/she is enrolled.
From Course(s)
Voluntary Withdrawal from Courses
Students who withdraw from (drop) a course prior to the census date will receive a 100% refund for the course. There will be no record of the course withdrawal on the student transcript.
Students who drop a course after the census date and prior to the last day to withdraw date are responsible for the full cost of the course. A grade of WD will be reflected on the student transcript. This grade does not impact the student’s overall grade point average.
Administrative Withdrawal from Courses
If the College determines the student stops attending, violates the Code of Conduct Policy, or fails to meet published academic policies, that student may be administratively withdrawn and will be subject to the refund and transcript guidelines above.
From College
To officially withdraw from State Technical College of Missouri, a student must complete a Withdrawal Form and submit the completed form to the Academic Records Office to have the form processed. The date of withdrawal will be the last date of attendance at a documented academic-related activity.
Failure to attend classes does not constitute a withdrawal from the College. The College reserves the right to administratively withdraw a student following due process.
