Program Changes

Students who wish to change their academic program must be in good academic standing. Before making any changes, students should thoroughly review the requirements of the new program they are considering and consult their current program advisor. It is the student’s responsibility to understand and follow the program requirements outlined in the State Tech Catalog that is in effect at the start of their new program.

Previously completed coursework, including transferred or State Tech credits, may not apply to the new program due to differences in degree requirements. Students must also have documentation on file verifying that all admission requirements for the new program have been met.

Students may be required to go through a program review process as part of the change request.

Program changes are not guaranteed and are subject to approval.

Students are permitted to change their degree program only once.
