The technical Assessment Fee is a per technical credit hour course fee that helps support expenses related to assessment, certificates/licenses, and the testing center.
Technical Assessment Fees are not charged to general education courses, web based sections of a course, or dual enrollment or dual credit courses.
The Technical Assessment Fee is $8.00 per technical credit hour for all technical program courses with the exception of Welding Technology and Heavy Equipment Operations program courses which have no Technical Assessment Fee/credit hour.
Tier Fees
The Tier Fee is a per technical credit hour course fee that helps support the high cost associated with delivering technical programs such as program equipment, materials and supplies. Technical programs are classified as Tier One, Tier Two, Tier Three, or Tier Four. These tier fees are not charged to general education courses or dual enrollment or dual credit courses.
Tier One is $12.00/per technical credit hour, Tier Two is $17.00/per technical credit hour, Tier Three is $22.00/per technical credit hour, Tier Four is $32.00/per technical credit hour.
Tier Five is a per credit hour course fee that helps support the high cost associated with delivering online instruction. Tier Five fees are not charged to dual enrollment or dual credit courses. Tier Five is $50.00/per credit hour.
