Holstein Manufacturing Inc. Towable Gas Grill (Model 7240G)

The Towable Gas Grill is available for employee use and is perfect for campus events, cookouts, tailgates, or department gatherings. This heavy duty, propane-fueled grill offers a large cooking surface and reliable performance, making it ideal for serving groups of all sizes. Mounted on a trailer for easy transport, it includes bult-in side tables and a secure hitch for towing.

Reservation Details

  • Available to employees for official College related events
  • Requires a reservation at least 3 business days in advance
  • Users are responsible for propane and post-use cleaning, or fees will apply

Grill Return & Cleaning Policy

All employees who reserve and use the Towable Gas Grill are responsible for returning it to the same location as picked up in clean and acceptable condition.

Towable Gas Grill Policy Guidelines

All renters are responsible for returning rented property in the same condition it was received, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear, will result in an assessment of damages and corresponding fees.

The grill must be thoroughly cleaned after use. This includes:

  • Removing all food debris and grease from grates and surfaces
  • Emptying and wiping down grease trays
  • Cleaning side table and any additional prep areas
  • Ensuring no trash or leftover supplies are left behind
  • Return Towable Gas Grill with full propane tank after use (Propane refills can be obtained at Hometown Building Center, 742 Highway 50 W Linn, Mo.)
  • Event coordinator will be responsible for collecting and returning the Towable Gas Grill Keys to the Key Lockbox located in the college’s Mailroom.

Assessment Process:

  1. Inspection: All rented property will be inspected upon return. A staff member will document the condition.
  2. Damage Evaluation: If damage is found, it will be evaluated to determine:
    • The extent of the damage
    • Whether the item is repairable or must be replaced
    • The cost of repair or replacement
  3. Cleanliness Evaluation: Fees are determined based on the time, supplies, and labor needed to restore the property to an acceptable standard

Fee Structure:

Damage Fees will be based on one or more of the following:

  • Minor Damages: (e.g., scratches, small stains, minor wear outside of normal use) Flat fee ranging from $25–$75 depending on item and extent of damage.
  • Moderate Damages: (e.g., broken parts, deep stains, dents, partial loss of function) Repair cost or fee between $75–$250, based on professional estimate or actual repair invoice.
  • Severe Damages or Total Loss: (e.g., irreparable damage, missing items, destruction of property) Full replacement cost of the item, including shipping and administrative processing.

 

Cleaning Fees will be based on one or more of the following:

  • Light Cleaning Required: (e.g., wiping down surfaces, emptying trash, minimal effort) Flat fee of $25-$50.
  • Moderate Cleaning Required: (e.g., extensive food residue, dirty equipment, disorganized materials) Fee of $50–$100.
  • Heavy Cleaning Required: (e.g., grease buildup, trash left behind, equipment left in unsanitary condition) Fee of $100–$200, or actual cleaning cost if professional services are required.

Billing and Payment:

  • Renters will receive an itemized damage report.
  • Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date.
  • Failure to pay damage fees may result in additional penalties, denial of future rental privileges, or collection action.
  • Payments MUST be made with the Campus Cashier by debit card, credit card or check. (Checks payable to State Tech)

Appeals:

Renters may appeal for a damage assessment in writing within 5 business days of receiving the damage report. Appeals should include any supporting documentation or explanation. Appeals will be reviewed by the appropriate supervisor, and a final decision will be communicated within 10 business days.

Acknowledgment:

Maintaining the grill in good condition ensures it remains a useful resource for all employees. Thank you for your cooperation and respect for shared equipment.

By renting property, renters agree to the terms outlined in the policy guidelines.

 

How to Rent

All reservations must be submitted through the official college reservation system by using the Outlook Calendar and approved prior to use.
