Career Expo 2018

Published on February 15, 2018

Linn MO – 184  companies registered for State Technical College of Missouri’s annual Career Expo on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. In today’s ever changing job climate, State Technical College of Missouri is proud to announce a 97% job placement rate for students when they graduate and events like this one are a big reason why.

“This will be another record breaking year for us,” said Glenda Whitney, Career Services Director.  “We’ve not had this many employers on campus at one time for a career expo.” According to Whitney, these employers have numerous job openings available for State Tech graduates ranging from entry to advanced level opportunities.

“This is also an excellent opportunity for alumni of the college to come back to campus and visit with these employers if they want to advance their career,” said Whitney.

The college offers free lifetime career services to all alumni.  Alumni are encouraged to sign up for an account on HireEagles.  Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, this online system allows alumni to create and manage a personal account. Users can search jobs by major and receive notifications for new job opportunities.
