High school students explore technology careers at State Tech

Linn MO –State Technical College of Missouri is once again hosting the 2023 Computer Professions on Demand (CPoD) this month at the main campus in Linn, June 25-29.

The program is specifically designed for high school students throughout the state of Missouri to spend five days learning about career possibilities in the computer technology field.  All participants will:

• Gain hands-on experience through training sessions.
• Work as a team to develop a technical presentation for the closing session.
• Learn about project management, networks and basic concepts of how a computer works.
• Visit mid-Missouri businesses and state agencies to learn more about the use of information technology systems.
