Physical Therapist Assistant Admission Requirements

To ensure you’re ready for our hands-on education and rigorous coursework, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements. 2nd-Year Academic Requirements
To Progress to the 2nd-Year, the PTA student must: Complete 20 volunteer or observation hours in two physical therapy settings, with at least 8 hours in one setting, within the past three years. Achieve a minimum TEAS score of 60. Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA completing all prerequisite courses with no grade lower than a “C”. Achieve a “B” in each of the following courses: **Human Anatomy and Physiology with Lab I and II and Advanced Musculoskeletal and Neurological Anatomy**
