Practical Nursing Technology Admission Requirements

To ensure you’re ready for our hands-on education and rigorous coursework, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements. If you don’t meet every requirement, you’re still encouraged to apply. Our admissions team reviews each application individually and can help determine your best next steps.

This program has a competitive selection process. Application deadline is December 5^th.

Academic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET) GPA: 2.75
Test Scores
Submit all ACT and/or Accuplacer Next Gen test scores. Test scores are used for program admittance and course placement. Test scores may be waived with approved transfer credit.

Program-Specific Requirements
•Observation Documentation A total of 4 hours of observation must be completed with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). The observation will not be accepted if completed at the applicant’s current place of employment. Both forms, Applicant Initial Set-Up of Observation Form and Applicant Observation Form, need to be completed and submitted to the Office of Admissions. •Attend an information session For a list of information session dates and to register, click here. •Drug screening, background check, and vaccinations are required for clinical education.
