State Tech Counselor Forum

On Friday, February 23, State Technical College of Missouri welcomed counselors throughout the state of Missouri for the State Tech Counselor Forum. The goal of the forum was to provide counselors an opportunity to network and learn more about State Tech in an effort to help students with their college decisions. In addition to a full campus tour, State Tech faculty and staff provided several presentations pertaining to initiatives unique to State Tech such the success of AJA@™ State Tech. Other topics included the application process, dual credit, and A+ Program. During the forum, two tuition waivers valued at $1,500 were awarded for counselors and coordinators to award to the student of each recipient’s choice. Jen Larsen, College Coordinator at Parkway North High School received a $1,000 tuition waiver. Kim Flores, Guidance Counselor at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, won the $500 tuition waiver.
