Ready to Report – Landing Page
We receive many questions each week from students about how to notify someone at the college of an incident they witnessed or a concern they want to share. We want to make reporting your concerns as simple as possible. For your convenience, we have created a Ready to Report landing page where you can find a reporting form for any concerns you would like to report.
State Technical College of Missouri is committed to creating a safe, supportive learning and working environment for all members of the campus community. We take all reports of misconduct seriously to protect everyone’s health and well-being.
State Tech depends on community members to identify and report behaviors of concern so the College can provide students and employees in need with appropriate support services and resources. It takes all of us to create a welcoming campus environment. If you see something, say and do something about it-use the forms on the Ready to Report landing page to help us stay informed on any concerning behavior or students who may be in need of assistance.
The page contains graphics that explain what each form should be used to report. Each form correlates to a process we have at State Tech. We hope by moving to an electronic form, it will be easier for students to find and use.
For example, here is the graphic for the F.A.S.T. form. If you have a concern about a fellow student, you can click on the form, complete it, and when you submit, a person from our team will check in on the person of concern. We hope that you bookmark the Ready to Report landing page on your device so it is easy to access when you need it.
Figure 1 this is the FAST Form. Use it to share a concern about a student who may be struggling with academic, personal, or emotional difficulties or is exhibiting concerning behavior.
Please visit the Ready to Report landing page to see the other reporting forms we have for students.

Early Alert Reports – Importance of Attendance
All faculty have the ability to share concerns about students through our Early Alert process. They keep us informed of things they see may keep students from success each semester. We have received many reports about students missing classes in the first five weeks. Attendance is crucial to your success in the classroom. If you have an illness or an emergency that prevents you from attending, please contact your instructors. When an Early Alert is submitted, our Counseling Staff will reach out to you via text, e-mail, and/or phone. We want to make sure everything is going ok and offer any solutions to issues you may be having outside the classroom. We want to make sure you are aware we can help. Attendance is essential to success, but if you have to miss class, please notify your instructors.

Tips & Tricks – June 21, 2021
Good morning!
I wanted to provide an update about things that are happening on campus this summer. We are currently working on projects to repair existing parking lots and create additional parking spaces before the start of the Fall 2021 semester.
Parking Lot Fee
I receive questions about the “Parking Lot Fee” quite frequently from students and their parents. This is a $2 per credit hour fee charged to all students. This fee allows us to conduct maintenance and repairs on our existing parking lots. In addition, it allows us to add parking as enrollment increases.
During the summer of 2019, we added 200 new parking spots to campus. This summer, we will be adding approximately 130 more parking spots to campus.
In addition, we are completing a resealing and restriping project that is coming along very nicely. Please look at these before and after pictures of the resealing project.
If you have any questions about this process (or any question at all), please do not hesitate to reply to this e-mail or contact my office at (573) 897-5201. Please remember, we are on summer hours, which means we are in the office Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to Noon on Fridays.
Parking Reminder – Where Can I Park???

As you can see below, you can click on the “Canvas Login” link at the top of the State Tech home page. If you have issues accessing your Canvas account, please send an e-mail to helpdesk@statetechmo.edu or give them a call (573) 897-5200.
We hope everyone has a great weekend! Our staff will return to the office after the weekend on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 8:00 AM.
Activity Center Hours
If you are looking for things to do over the weekend, the Activity Center (fitness area, cardio, weights, game room, gaming room) are open on the weekend from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday. Come in, get in a workout and play some games.
Golf Course – POOL
The Golf Course is open at 7:00 AM all weekend long as well. The Pool officially opens on Saturday, May 15, 2021. It will be very chilly, but as the temperatures rise, please take advantage of the pool at the Osage Country Club.
