It’s the time of year when giving back to those less fortunate is on the minds of many. That feeling of giving was on display this week on the campus of State Tech.
This year, Electronics Department Chair Drew Collins agreed that if his students collected 1,000 food items he would “parade” around campus in a dress and shaved legs. Needless to say the students responded by collecting 1,769 food items in total.

Meanwhile, David Peterson, the Department Chair/Instructor for the Electrical Distribution Systems program told his students if they raising at least $1,000 in cold hard cash for the food pantry he would shave his hair to a Mohawk! Once again the students were up to the task and Mr. Peterson has a fresh new hairdo!
