2020 Career Expo

Linn MO – More than 250 companies were on hand for State Technical College of Missouri’s annual Career Expo and Missouri Governor Mike Parson delivered some opening remarks.

“With State Tech’s enrollment growth, we are pleased to welcome a record number of industry partners who are providing employment and internship opportunities for our strong student body,” said State Tech Vice President of Advancement Shannon Grus.

State Tech is proud to announce a 99% job placement rate for students when they graduate. Missouri Governor Mike Parson spoke with employers, as well as students who will soon enter the workforce, providing a positive impact to Missouri’s workforce development needs.

“The outstanding work of faculty and staff over the years has prepared our students to be sought after upon graduation, proving once again State Tech truly is the Employers Choice,’ said Grus.

State Tech also offers free lifetime career services to all alumni.  Alumni are encouraged to sign up for an account on HireEagles.  Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, this online system allows alumni to create and manage a personal account. Users can search jobs by major and receive notifications for new job opportunities.
