State Tech CTG Students Win big in Louisville

Over spring break, five State Tech Commercial Turf and Grounds students traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to attend the National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization (PAS) conference.
The students competed in three areas of Employment Interview, Career Progress, and Horticulture Specialists.

Turfgrass Specialist Award Area:
Tony Krenning & Logan DeCamp – 1st Place Team
Brendan Browne & Josh Browne – 2nd Place Team
Tony Krenning – 1st Place Individual
Josh Browne – 2nd Place Individual
Brendan Browne – 3rd Place Individual

Landscape Design/Nursery Development Award Area:
Russell Nanney – 2nd place Individual

Career Progress:
Tony Krenning – 1st Place
